Center Stage Community Theatre was founded in 1996. In the 11 Years of operation CSCT has performed at several locations and produced an estimated 50 separate shows. In 2004 Center Stage bought property at 604 Powell Street in Lebanon Indiana. After about a year of renovations CSCT opened its permanent home with the show Twice Around the Park. And has produced the following shows since opening its doors, The Mousetrap, Greater Tuna, Talking With..., A Tuna Christmas, The Boys Next Door, Arsenic and Old Lace, Love Letter's, And The Fantasticks.

Center Stage is operated by its Board of Directors, and has monthly business meetings on the 1st Thursday of every month at the theatre. The meetings start at 7:30pm and are open to CSCT members and the general public. There is also an annual meeting held at the theatre.
